The first phase of the KMRT Gangshan Extension is currently going well in progress, and the steel bridge across the Agongdian River has been hoisted and launched in May. In order to reduce the risk of flood seasons, the design of this bridge will avoid lying on the keel block. Furthermore, for the safety of the construction and the decrease of the impact on the surrounding traffic flow, the construction will adopt the Top-Bunt Slippage Method for the first time in Taiwan. It is expected to be completed this project across the Agongdian River in early August.
