The Kaohsiung City Government will hold an Investment Invitation Forum to invite "Private Participation in the Kaohsiung Metropolitan LRT Loop Line Construction Plan", The Forum will allow potential investors an opportunity to have accurate understanding and awareness of lucrative financial opportunities available at the onset of this project.

For the past four or five years, Kaohsiung City Government has made every effort to develop and maintain the very model of a "Government giving impetus for private participants to take part in".

Kaohsiung City is actively promoting private participation in infrastructure projects located in southern Taiwan area and has met considerable success in driving numerous major local public construction projects. This has sped development in the region and resulted in a higher level of construction quality and practices.

There are some advantages in promoting private participation in infrastructure projects, which may result in the saving of taxpayer finances and the provision for a plenitude of job opportunities for the local and national economy. At the same time, such projects accelerate prosperity and enhance the visibility and viability of Kaohsiung as a vibrant community.
