The KMRT logo is designed to be the first letter of the word "Kaohsiung", which represents the localization of Kaohsiung Mass Rapid Transit (KMRT). In the logo, the long drag style transecting the letter K symbolizes the speeding of a modern mass rapid transit system. The two gaps in the middle of the logo are double arrowheads, which are global figures representing the uniqueness of metro. Blue represents the bright sky and deep ocean and expresses the love of peace and freedom for all Kaohsiung citizens.
